Week 15-16 - Transferred

Looks like weekly phone calls are going to make a weekly letter much more rare.  So I (Jennefer) will be posting his pictures along with a few comments from our phone calls. He was transferred this week to the exact opposite end of the mission to an area just NE of downtown Seattle.  He loves his new companion but the area is tougher than the countryside area he was in before.

Week 13-14 - Stacking wood is the worst but I love serving the Lord! Take that Satan!!!

This week was awesome!! On Monday after p day was over we decided to go out and visit less actives and the Hillman's grandson, Devon, was and he wanted to come with us so he did! We knocked a few people but after knocking on a certain door that wasn't home Devon felt like we should go to the house right next door that was an active member. Elder Anderson and I hadn't met them so we said OK and they were home and apparently had been out of town for months up until just a few days prior and he was heading out of town again in about a week later and he really needed help splitting wood and stacking it. He said we were truly an answer to his prayers because he didn't know how he was going to do it all alone. It's such a blessing to be able have Heavenly Father answer someone's prayers through me. We said we would come by the next morning and help out.

We got there to brother and sister horne's house and there was SO MUCH WOOD like an unreal amount. So we got to work! After a couple hours I was like yeesh this is the worst! But then the holy ghost was like shut up idiot this is great. your life isn't yours right now. and I was like oh yes you are right holy ghost I'm dumb you are smart. And then I was happy because I realized that being able to serve the lord is the happiest anyone can be.
After that we went and had a doctors appointment so that took up a lot of the day but on our way back we decided to stop by a few people and see how they were doing and we got to talk to Shelby! I don't remember if I've talked about Shelby but anyway she's so freakin elect she is super interested in the book of Mormon and she asked a lot of good questions. It was funny when we first started talking she was like yea I did some research and we were like oh no the internet sucks!! And she was like yea apparently that guy came from Israel to America and we were like oh yes that type of research yes you're right *phew* but she is so awesome!!!

On Wednesday our wifi in the car turned off and it was the saddest thing in the entire world. I'm basically going to be crying the entire week.

On Friday we went back to the Horne's and split and stacked more wood for

Saturday was Maple Falls Day!! And we had exchanges!! It was great because elder graham served in the area like a year ago so he had a bunch of pointers and he knew some members that weren't in the records. Towards the end of the night we helped the Ray's stack wood on their trailer and it was just super awesome. That led to us having dinner with them and the black meal that they made was because elder Graham is dying this next week. The Ray's are the best. Also something you need to know is that up in maple falls there is ZERO reception so on our way back down from there we got a bunch of texts from Blaine and a text from bishop CALL US we were like what the heck! And so we got some reception and apparently elder Miller, Elder Grahams usual companion, had eaten something with tomato in it and he was in the ER. It was crazy! He almost died. So we extended the exchange for another night because they didn't get back to the apartment until midnight. So elder Graham came to church with me and got to see all the members again and it was super awesome. Bishop morris made him go up and bear a dying testimony so that was awesome. And then we re-exchanged after church and all was well and elder Miller didn't die.

Today we are going to be having a zone barbecue in lynden that's gonna happen in a couple hours so stay tuned next week for what happened with that!!

Week 11-12

Last Sunday I gave a talk and it was fricken dope you all should have been there! it was crazy! nobody seemed to get kicked by the good ol holy spirit but it was still good. I basically plagiarized my entire farewell talk and related it in a different way. it was great!

on Monday we had to take elder price to the hospital that's why there wasn't a weekly last week also I'm mega lazy so that's another reason.

Tuesday we had zone conference which was grrreat

Friday was insane!! we went to talk to a potential investigator and he was like nah and we were like alright sick what a waste of time and so we just knocked all the doors on his street and we taught SIX (6) doorstep lessons and gave out THREE (3) copies of the book of Mormon it was insane! I was like yeet so we are going to go talk to them on Friday!

on Saturday we went and cleaned up Jeff gangball Jeff's yard because he is in a wheel chair and it's hard to rake when you can't use your legs! after that we went to a garage sale and picked up like a bunch of old camera equipment that would have been probably 1-2 thousand brand new. so that's awesome! for. dinner we went to three flavors with the hillmans again. it was so awesome! I love the hillmans. Sunday we had dinner with the obriens and they looked up Tesla videos for like 20 minutes and basically forced us to watch them.
today we didn't have to take someone to the hospital so we played a bunch of sports and stuff.

on a more serious note I will be coming home in about a month because of certain medical reasons. I'm really sad but hopefully I will be able to come back out again. april fools. gottem.

count your blessssssings
I love myself so you should love yourself too!
